K-Resins can be developed and applied using a series of traditional machining techniques. The pure K-resin or the K-resin mixed with the versatile polystyrene can be made into sheet metal by extrusion molding, and the high yield of the common equipment is thermally formed. In addition to high-speed production, the K-resin is economically acceptable and can be used to make transparent beverage cups, lids and other packaging materials that are not easily broken. Similarly, K-Resin as injection molding processing performance is good, cycle time reasonable, design flexibility. An example of the use of the K-resin feature is a transparent, long-lived hinge box for injection moulding. The K-resin is injected with a narrow hinge-hinge membrane cavity and still has sufficient toughness to ensure the life of the hinge. For hollow blow molding, the K-resin can be processed on most traditional equipment without costly changes to the equipment, such as the need for special molds, different screws, or a bottle that can be molded and molded to form a transparent crystal. K-Resin can be made of hollow blow molding of various sizes and shapes of products, small pill bottles, medical drainage devices, to the high body display art. It is not necessary to change the blow molding equipment, but also can be made into a glass-like transparent bottle with high resistance. In addition, K-resin can also be manufactured with rigid, high-gloss transparent label packaging film. If extreme processing and crushing recycling can be avoided, the polymer can be recycled multiple times, with only minimal changes in performance and processing energy.
Compared with other transparent polymers, the K-resin copolymer is characterized by low density and more attractive from an economic point of view. The rate of K-resins is higher than that of non-styrene transparent resins, and is in line with the provisions of the FDA's $number CFR 177 1640 * and the European EEC guideline 90/128/eec for food packaging. K-Resins also have a large proportion in the medical market, suitable for use as USP v1-50 materials, and can be disinfected with ethylene oxide gas or ultraviolet radiation.
