Resistance welding

It is used to weld the thin metal pieces, clamping between the two electrodes by the welder through the large current melting electrode contact surface, that is, through the workpiece resistance heating to implement the welding. Workpiece easily deformed, resistance welding through the joint on both sides of the weld, and laser welding only from the unilateral, electrical resistance welding is often maintained to remove oxides and metal from the workpiece adhesion, laser welding thin metal lap joints do not contact the workpiece, and the beam can also enter the conventional welding difficult to weld and the area, welding speed.

Argon arc welding

The use of non-consumable electrodes and protective gases, commonly used to weld thin workpiece, but the welding speed is slow, and heat input than laser welding much larger, easy to produce deformation.

Plasma arc welding

Similar to Argon arc, but its welding torch will produce a compression arc, in order to improve the arc mild energy density, it is faster than the argon arc welding speed, deep penetration, but less than laser welding.
